Bedside SWAN Max — Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026. Applies to the Bedside SWAN Max iOS app and the web version at bedside-swan-max.web.app.

The short version

Bedside SWAN Max does not collect, store, or transmit personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no patient identifier fields. The numbers you type stay on your device and are cleared when you clear them.

What the app stores on your device

Nothing else is written to storage. Measurements you enter are held in memory only while the app is open.

Payment

Bedside SWAN Max is sold once, up front, through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment; the app never sees your payment details and makes no network requests of its own.

Reports you export

Copy and Share put the report text into the clipboard or the iOS share sheet at your request. Where it goes from there is under your control. The report contains no identifier fields by design.

Guide links

The Guide overlays show reference figures that are built into the app (no download happens). Their links open pages on pocus101.com in an in-app browser. POCUS 101 is not affiliated with this app, and its own privacy practices apply once you open one of its pages.

Children

Bedside SWAN Max is intended for clinicians and clinical trainees and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
